The 40th Imperial Potentate / Past Grand Master - Noble Homer L. Buchanan, 33°, Amer Temple #107 Receives the Prestigious BRUCE Award. “Bison Strength Recognized Unsurpassed Commitment & Excellence”
 
A special event occurred on November 21, 2020 at the historic location of Colonial Charles H. Young Buffalo Soldier National Historic Site.  This site is located between Wilberforce University and Central State University which are two HBCUs in northeast Ohio.  The site for this award was chosen because of its historic significance to African American history and their pursuit to commitment and excellence.
The BRUCE award was presented by Illustrious Potentate Reginald B. Murray dressed as a representative of the historic and famous Buffalo Soldiers.  IP Murray presented the award on behalf of the National Buffalo Soldier Association who bestowed it upon Noble Homer L. Buchanan for his excellence and outstanding Masonic endeavors.
